The original deadline came and went. Then it got pushed to Friday. Now July 19. If you want to try this yourself, search GitHub for Android SMS gateway or SMS relay API. The repos exist. Claude Code can wire the REST endpoints in a single session. Will it scale to enterprise? No. Does a local store need enterprise? Also no.

Five words. One geopolitical reference. Fable 5 got pulled because of U.S. government restrictions, and Captain_Klrk casually named it the chokepoint nobody asked for. The Strait of Hormuz comparison is perfect. A critical resource that keeps getting blocked and unblocked based on political dynamics nobody downstream can control. Builders just want to ship code. The delivery is unhinged but directionally correct. If you're building production software on a model that gets announced, pulled, extended, extended again, and extended a third time via tweet with no blog post... you are gambling. Every AI builder right now is running production on models whose availability, pricing, and capability can change overnight. AppealSame4367 just said it at maximum volume.

The real kicker: this isn't even an Anthropic-specific problem. OpenAI changes pricing and model availability constantly. Google sunsets APIs like it's a hobby. The entire industry runs on vibes and press releases. AppealSame4367 is just the first person to drop the diplomatic tone about it.

Here's the minimum audit loop you should run before deploying anything vibecoded:
