Why this exists
People ask me constantly how to become a GTM engineer. My answer has always been three words: build in public.
That advice is getting weaker, and it is not because it stopped being true. It is because text became trivially fakeable. Anyone can generate a convincing thread about a pipeline they never touched, and plenty of people do it daily.
Video is where that falls apart. You either share your screen and explain why you picked the waterfall order you picked, or you cannot. There is no prompt for having actually done the thing.
So this is the receipts layer. Not interviews about strategy. People talking about work they actually did.
Being straight about where it is: I am still working out the format. It will get sharper as I record. I would rather say that than pretend there is a polished show sitting here waiting for you.
How you get on
Join the community and say you want in. That is the whole process.
No follower minimum, nobody is checking your title, and there is nothing to prepare. If you are building things and you can talk about them, you qualify.
Posting what you are working on in the community helps, mostly because it gives me something to react to. It is not required.
What we talk about
The actual thing. Whatever you are deep in right now, however finished or unfinished it happens to be.
The workflows, the stack, the parts you wired together yourself. This is usually where it gets good.
What broke, what surprised you, what you would tell someone starting the same thing. No script, no prep required.
What you walk away with
- The episode.
- A pack of captioned vertical clips cut from the best parts, sized for wherever you post.
- The clips are yours. Run them anywhere, no attribution games, no permission needed.
- A chance to promote what you are building to people who actually understand it.
I am not looking for people with audiences. I am looking for people who built something real and have no idea how to show it. If that is you, that is the entire pitch.
Guests come out of the builder community. People post what they are working on, tear each other’s work apart, and test tools themselves instead of arguing about them. It runs on Buzz, so you will need the desktop app.
