I genuinely cannot tell if this is satire or a confession. the original post was already poking fun at people spending $500/day building tools that exist for $49/mo. and then this comment walks in and somehow makes the math worse. $30k/year for a human who learns, grows, and eventually stops making the same mistakes vs $30k/month for an AI that will confidently delete your production database at 3am if you forget to set permissions. the ROI math checks out if you squint hard enough and ignore the part where Claude doesn't show up to standup or bring donuts.
